Banana on Inferno widened in new CS2 update

A pixel gap at Coffins was removed, several spots on Train and Inferno were simplified for visibility, and new skins were added in the latest update.

Valve has made adjustments to Train and Inferno in its latest update to Counter-Strike 2, simplifying visuals in several common locations and adjusting a few areas to allow for more fluid movement.

The most glaring change is the widening of Banana, which Valve "adjusted to more closely match the size of the CS:GO version."

With the spread and damage of incendiary grenades nerfed in a previous update, CTs will likely have an even harder time contesting for control of one of the map's most important battlegrounds.

The steps on the side of Arch and the pixel gap at Coffin, which allowed for a player on Sandbags to spot the tips of heads coming out of Church, were removed, while the crates to climb onto A Site's Balcony were adjusted for better movement alongside general "player and grenade collision" adjustments.

Many common positions had their backgrounds cleaned up for better visibility, including the view into Pit on A and the areas behind T ramp and the back of B Site.

Train received the same cleanup treatment in areas like Z, Ivy, and upper B, while the overhead roof rail of A Site was shortened "to make it easier to throw utility into site."

Nearly 100 new skins were also added between the new Fever Case, three new map collections, and an update to the Train collection "inspired by the map's new visuals."
